Your_Account-Modul Avatar Control Panel vs. 6.5-6.9
Beschreibung: This is a modification of PHP-Nuke's original Your Account module for PHP-Nuke 6.5 through 6.9 that provides an alternative to the avatar issues present when saving changes in Nuke's profile, your current avatar is displayed along with a list of available avatar galleries. Selecting a new avatar is as easy as browsing through the galleries and clicking on the desired avatar. Uploaded avatars will still have to be entered through the forum's profile, currently if avatar uploading is enabled on your forums the control panel will switch the disabled message to a link to the forum's profile!

Beschreibung: Die bis dato (02.06.05) neueste Version. Änderungen:
- Improved the banners administration system. Now you can set Ads positions, assig banners to a specific position, use Javascript and HTML code banners, use Flash (.swf) banners, now you must specify width and height of your Flash and Images advertising. To use the new ads system you should use the following code:
$ads = ads(1);
echo "$ads";
Change the number "1" for the position you want to use in that particular space. By default, the new advertising
system uses position 0 and 1. Position 0 is called "Page Top" to include ads in the header and great for Top of the page ads like the standards 468x60. Position 1 by default is called "Left Block" and is used from
the block file blocks-Advertising.php
With this system you can use Google's AdSense, Fastclick, TribalFusion, DoubleClick, etc... etc... in the way
you want. Text Links ads are also supported. Just know that Javascripts/HTML code and Flash banners can count
the impressions but not the clicks.
- IMPORTANT: Removed the file banners.php and replaced with two functions included in mainfile.php
Please update your themes and/or modules that makes use of banners.php to start using the new ads system.
- Removed banners configuration from preferences in the administration area. Banners value will always be 1 (active) and they will show if exists, otherwise the system will just ignore the ads functions. Banners field in the nuke_config table remains present for compatibility with old themes that uses it.
- Upgraded phpBB forums port to version 0.15 (Thanks to chatserv from http://nukeresources.com)
- Updated all files of Private Messages and Members List modules with the latest fixes (Thanks to chatserv from http://nukeresources.com)
- Removed the javascript code check if you're in the administration area. Admins should be able to use scripts code on their sites without any restrictions.

- All blocks in the admin panel can now be previewed (active or not)
- Added a new define('NO_EDITOR') method to remove the wysiwyg editor if you don't want it on a specific area

just before including the header.php. On this way the wysiwyg editor will not load on that page
- Function makePass() has been moved from Your_Account module to mainfile.php because it's of common use
- Removed the wysiwyg editor for the Forums module when you're admin. Both posting system doesn't like each other.

News Ads vs. 1.6
Beschreibung: Allow News Ads to be used to place (random) images in between stories.
Removed hyperlink from News Ad image if no hyperlink exists to prevent user going to a blank page.
Fix problem where sometimes images/ads would not display if ad_width or ad_height were blank or zero in the News Ads setup area.
So far i was told this was only a problem in IE5, IE6.
Also remove v1.5 random logic and put back original random logic.
The key to better randomness is to have much more ads/images in the nuke_ads table than stories on a page if possible.
(For PHPNuke 6.0)!

Beschreibung: Weatherharvest BETA v0.7.0 - what's new? Now that I've gotten over killing databases, I've gotten down to some real data collection and a few bugs.
Fixed parsing errors in index.php
Added NOAA BUOY Marine Data for the WORLD! (HUGE addition, pretty cool) There is an initialization table upgrade from 0.5.0 to 0.7.0
Added Weather Summaries - NOAA lists summaries for selected cities throughout the world. This simple routine allows you to see the collected data for those specified regions
Added Canada to the list of weather cities. No radar yet, but it is coming!
Installation Instructions Power users - if you want to upgrade - you can! If you have successfully installed BETA 0.4.0, you may apply WHUpgrade0-4to0-5.sql. If you have successfully installed BETA 0.5.0 you may apply WHUpgrade0-5to0.7.sql.
Apply the rest of the code in it's respective location as with previous installs. Just to be SAFE! The zip file provided is based on a directory structure "/www/phpnuke6.5/...". This is what the development machine is. Future PROD zips will start from "html" under your particular PHPNuke version.
Steps to success:
Unzip and copy files to their correct locations in your PHPNuke site
CHMOD the "modules/WeatherHarvest/cache" directory to 777
Apply the WeatherHarvest0-7.sql file AND WeatherHarvestMORE0-7.sql. It is applied through the mySQL command line or through an admin tool such as phpMyAdmin. This file will wipe old databases, and create new ones.
IMPORTANT: Before activating your block and module, you must go through your admin panel and set up your defaults in the initialization table. All paths are based on "root" and must have a trailing '/' You'll receive errors if they are entered wrong. Your cache paths from "root" should all be the same. If you are a power user, you can set up a seperate cache path for radar images.
Note: Cache timeout is for cleanup and regeneration of data files. NOAA typically updates every 30 minutes unless a significant event is taking place.
HTTP protocol is the preferred. If you choose FTP, you could experience a "slow" site. I give you the lodaed gun - use it wisely!
Once you have successfully saved your initialization data, activate your block and module. You may place the module in your "links" block, as it now has menu options for users.
At this time, you may want to set up your default site city. You perform this through the admin panel.
A quick note about root paths Keep in mind that the root path of an Operating System and the root path of PHPNuke are very different things. When trying to find the root path of your hosting Operating System, you need to telnet to the system, change directories to '/' ('' for Windows systems), and then progress until you are back at your sites home directory. The root directory of your PHPNuke install will minimally be the home directory of your site (where you are when you first log-in to your telnet session). I know this can be confusing, and it's certainly not easy to explain - but it makes a HUGE difference in your ability to read/write to various directories in your site path. You enter ASIN numbers in the admin page and the script does the rest. It has a hits counter so you know which items are more popular. It grabs the products picture, description, price, etc. from Amazon.com servers. Every time the page is refreshed a new item at is shown on the Amazon block. When the site visitor clicks on the item, the server loads a page with a detailed information of the item. Related items and a search form are shown just below the clicked item so you can earn more commisions. Tested on version 6.0 of PHP-Nuke!

ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1- Open root/images/CZModules/bookmark.js and fill in your site information. Then re-upload it.
2- Log into the Admin Panel and go to admin.php?op=modules set up your categories for the main menu.
3- Check the configuration settings on the MS_Analysis, there are instructions in there pertaining to the proper configuration. It is currently adjusted to run and update itself every hour (static).
4- If you want to use the Staff online images in the CZUser Info V.2.0 block then you will have to open it up and look for the following:

Change the XXXXX to your name in CAPITAL LETTERS and the xxxxx to your name in small letters (I am currently beta testing a new admin panel that will allow you to update those images from there so keep an eye out!).
5- Log into your Forums administration and make the necessary changes to the configuration in there, also that is where you can activate or deactivate the message board on top of the Forums!
