Beschreibung: Nvu (gesprochen "N-View") ist ein benutzerfreundlicher HTML-Editor, dessen Handhabung bei der Entwicklung einer Website ähnlich einfach und komfortabel ist, wie man es von den bekannten WYSIWYG-Programmen wie Dreamweaver, Frontpage, GoLive & Co. kennt.
Nvu wurde von den Lindows Entwicklern geschaffen und basiert auf der Mozilla-Plattform und deren Layout-Engine Gecko. Die aktuelle Version der Software setzt inzwischen auf die Code-Basis von Firefox 1.0 und ist bestens für bestens für das Zusammenspiel mit anderen Mozilla-Applikationen gerüstet.
Der Webeditor dient der WYSIWYG-Bearbeitung von HTML-Seiten und anderen Internetinhalten. Nvu verfügt über eine übersichtliche Benutzeroberfläche mit einer Symbolleiste, vielfältige Funktionen für das Einfügen von Bildern, Formularen, Tabellen und sonstigen Formatierungen, einen Site-Manager mit Tab-Unterstützung und ein Datei-Management per FTP. Eine Normal-, die HTML-Tag-, Quellcode-Ansicht und die Vorschau stehen wie gewohnt zur Verfügung.
Die größte Neuerung des aktuellen NVU 1.0 Beta Pre-Release 3 ist die experimentelle XHTML-Unterstützung sowie die Möglichkeit, PHP-Code direkt mit Nvu bearbeiten zu können. Nach Herstellerangaben wurde die Stabilität und Zuverlässigkeit der Software weiter verbessert!

This copyright notices can't be removed and the Commercial License becomes 100% compliant with the GPL license. Hope this is the end of the story for the people that doesn't understand a bit of the GPL. Again, if you want to legaly remove the copyright notices from PHP-Nuke generated pages you must purchase the Commercial License, see http://phpnuke.org/modules.php?name=Commercial_License for more details and stop complaining about this issue, the Commercial License is legal, GPL compliant and approved by the Free Software Foundation. Doing this nobody knows what's your administration filename. Additionaly a new method of URL redirection has been added to hide the referer when you click on a link inside administration system. If you have old administration modules not compatible with this new system you'll get "Access Denied" message. If this is the case, leave the admin.php file with its original name while you modify the modules or get a new compatible version of it.
- Added a new folder called /includes/custom_files where, if exists the files custom_mainfile.php, custom_header.php and custom_footer.php they will be included from mainfile.php, header.php and/or footer.php respectively. Also the file /includes/my_header.php has been removed and added the new /includes/custom_files/custom_head.php for anything that should be between and html tags in the code. With this feature will be more easy to update a site without lost your custom changes. These files will not be shipped with PHP-Nuke to avoid possible overwritting when updating the code. This Installer was created to simplify the process of installation of PHPNuke, hoping that it will be useful to many inexpert users, so my little work could contribute to the further diffusion of this great CMS.
This first release includes the languages english, spanish, italian and french, and provides the installation for PHPNuke version 7.7, 7.6 and 7.5.
A particular attention has been done to the License GNU/GPL and the Copyright Notice printed to the footer of PHPNuke, as required by his author F. Burzi.
(Note: tested only with MySql DataBase.)
Instructions:
After download and untar/unzip of the package, place the 'install' folder into the 'html' directory of PHPNuke package (where there are the files config.php, mainfile.php, ...).

Dabei beschränken sich die Entwickler auf den reinen Browser und verzichten bewusst auf ein integriertes Mail- oder Chatprogramm. Da Mozilla Firefox auf dem Mozilla-Programmcode basiert, ist es natürlich auch frei (Open Source) und für jeden Interessierten kostenlos verfügbar.
Mozilla Firefox bietet Ihnen viele nützliche Funktionen, wie z.B. einen "Pop-Up-Blocker", der auf Wunsch Werbefenster ausblendet, die unaufgefordert aufspringen. Auch das "Tabbed-Browsing", mit dem man mehrere Seiten in einem Fenster darstellen kann, möchte man bereits nach kurzer Zeit nicht mehr missen.
Mozilla Firefox ist in weiten Teilen sehr einfach konfigurierbar. So kann man sich bei Bedarf eine eigene Menüleiste zusammenstellen, oder das ganze Menü in einer Zeile unterbringen (nützlich bei niedrigen Auflösungen). Außerdem entwickelt eine große Gemeinschaft unablässig neue Erweiterungen, wie beispielsweise die "Mausgesten", mit denen man Mozilla Firefox bedienen kann ohne sich erst durch die Menüs zu klicken!
